Ingredients

For the hot honey cranberries
  • 0.33 cup honey
  • 0.25 tsp red pepper flakes crushed
  • 0.5 cup dried cranberries
  • 2 tbsp water
For the whipped feta
  • 1 block (8 oz) feta cheese drained and crumbled
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.25 cup Greek yogurt plain
  • 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 0.13 tsp black pepper ground

Equipment

  • 1 food processor

Method

Make the hot honey cranberries
  1. Warm the honey and red pepper flakes in a small saucepan over low heat for 1 minute, stirring once or twice.
  2. Stir in the dried cranberries and water.
  3. Simmer gently for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries are glossy and slightly softened.
  4. Remove from the heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
Whip the feta
  1. Process the feta, cream cheese, Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, and black pepper in a food processor for 1 to 2 minutes, scraping down the sides as needed, until smooth and fluffy.
Assemble
  1. Spoon the whipped feta into a shallow serving bowl and top with the hot honey cranberries.

Notes

For the smoothest texture, let the cream cheese soften before processing. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days; freezing is not recommended. For a dairy-free variation, use dairy-free feta, cream cheese, and yogurt.
