Ingredients

  • 2 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1.5 cup turkey chopped, cooked
  • 0.75 cup stuffing prepared
  • 0.33 cup cranberry sauce prepared
  • 0.75 cup Swiss cheese shredded
  • 1 egg large
  • 1 tsp water

Equipment

  • 1 large rimmed baking sheet

Method

  1. Heat the oven to 375°F and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, stir together the turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and Swiss cheese.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 16 triangles; arrange them in a ring on the baking sheet, with the wide ends overlapping in the center and the points facing outward.
  4. Spoon the filling over the overlapping wide ends, then fold the points over the filling and tuck them under the inner edge of the ring.
  5. Beat the egg with the water and brush it over the dough.
  6. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until the dough is deep golden brown and the center of the filling reaches 165°F.
  7. Rest the ring on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For an even ring, overlap the wide ends consistently before adding the filling. Refrigerate leftovers for 3 to 4 days; freeze baked leftovers for up to 2 months. For a dairy-free adaptation, use dairy-free crescent dough and cheese.
